PROCUREMENT NOTICE

Sealed Bids will be invited from eligible and qualified Bidders by me, the Chairman of the procurement Committee of District Secretariat, Matale for accomplish the under mentioned industry up to 2.30 p.m at 30.07.2021.

1. Applicant who are applying for the above mentioned industry should be updated to the above Grade (CIDA), and should not be included to the Black – List.
2. 280 days of duration have allocated to complete this project.
3. Relevant Bid documents can be obtained from 08.07.2021 up to 29.07.2021 on regular working days before 2.30 p.m from the engineering division by forwarding a written request along with the receipt obtained upon a payment  non- refundable fee to the Shroff of this office.
4. Bids will be issued after confirmation of the registration of CIDA.
5. Annual Capacity of the performance of industries in building construction field within last five years (5) should be Rs. 105.12 millions.
6. If Bidder has a Vat Registration Number it is, compulsory to indicate it when forwarding of procurement documents and certified copy should be attached to the bid application.
7. All of above mentioned refundable Bid Security should be paid to the Shroff of District Secretariat in cash or valid guarantee up to 31.12.2021, which must be obtained from any commercial bank approved by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka and Construction Guarantee Fund.
8. Validity period of the forwarding bids must be 91 days since the days when bids are opened.
9. The Prior bid meeting regarding this subject will be held on 20.07.2021 Tuesday at 10.00 a.m at the official room of the District Engineer located at the address of District Engineer, District Secretariat, Matale. Bidders or their Representatives may attained to this circumstance.
10. Completed Tenders, both in Original and duplicate must be submit by registered cover in favor of, “CHAIRMAN, DISTRICT PROCUREMENT COMMITTEE, DISTRICT SECRETARIAT, MATALE” or, be deposited in the TENDER BOX kept for this purpose at the office room of District Engineer of District Secretariat, Matale on or before 20.07.2021 at 2.30 p.m. Any responsibility regarding delays in post will not be accepted. “THE NAME OF THE INDUSTRY” must be compulsorily marked on top left hand corner of the envelope.
11. Tender will be opened immediately after the closing time, in front of the  Bidders or one of their accredited agents.
12. Further details can be obtained from the “Engineering Section of the District Secretariat of Matale.
13. Employer will not take responsibility for the cost afford by bidders for preparation, submission or submitting of bids to the work place.
14. Tenders, which not ensure required financial and technical capabilities, as stipulated in the instructions, will be rejected.
15. Procurement Committee reserves the right to make final decision for bids.
